Hello. I’m Joong Ryul Kim,
the President of Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

CUFS Graduate School of TESOL was founded in 2012 under the principles of truth, peace and creativity, when it became Korea’s only cyber graduate school devoted to TESOL. Our goal is to foster experts with in-depth knowledge of English and English education who can contribute to international society and pioneer creative approaches to English education. Our staff of Korean and foreign professors are exceptionally skilled in both education and research, integrating deep theoretical knowledge with practical education to strengthen on-site abilities. This differentiated curriculum for English education provides students with superior educational opportunities.

Our professors possess an outstanding sense of duty as demonstrated by the constant thought given to their lectures, research and thesis guidance, and their consistent communication with students. We also host colloquiums and workshops, inviting top experts in the field of English education in order to allow participants to experience firsthand the latest teaching trends and teach English effectively. Furthermore, we provide a diverse array of programs to support students, including overseas thesis presentations, overseas language training and cultural trips, and research meetings. These are just some of the ways we are actively supporting our students’ academic development.

In the years to come, we will continue to cultivate on and offline English education experts who have a competitive edge in the global era.
